Long trip travel advice

We're planning our first BIG RV trip with our two pups to Louisiana via Omaha (family there) in August to visit our first grandbaby. Hooray! Looking for GRA wisdom & advice on must-have devices or apps to get us there without encountering low bridges or bad routes and dangerous weather. What do you use to plan your long trips, prep for bad weather, find RV camp locations, etc.? (We are Elks members.) What RV equipment would you never travel without? Grateful for ALL advice.

We agree with Brett and Lori. RV Trip Wizard (RV Life) never fails us. If you do not have navigation in your RV, you can use the RV Life App on your phone throughout the trip. The only thing is that you will need to already have the trip done in the computer in order to choose it on your phone app. This may seem silly, but was always travel with plenty of bottled water. Even our dog gets bottled water. We've hit many places that weren't level, so we have gone overboard with extra leveling blocks, and use our step stool. I always have my laptop, and a hot spot for safe use of internet. We just added Starlink to the mix. How did it go with trying out the Elks Club in Chico?
